Art Deco 1920-1935

The "Art Deco" period arose in the twenties, creators started to add geometrical shapes among with brilliant associations of vivid colours; creating jewellery has finally become an art.

The "Art Deco" designation originates from the International Exhibition of Ornemental and Industrial Arts organised in Paris in 1925.

All associated artists illustrate themselves by the ultimate modernity they use in their creations : whether the goldsmith Jean DESPRES or jewellers such as Jean FOUQUET, Gérard SANDOZ, Raymond TEMPLIER, Jeanne BOIVIN, Suzanne BELPERRON, Louis BOUCHERON or MAUBOUSSIN.
